Digitization has given us many opportunities, such as dealing with official and financial matters without leaving home. However, this brings with it other challenges. One of them is confirming your identity when performing various operations. Blockchain is an ideal technology for this and Levercode decided to use it in this way. We had the opportunity to talk to Riho Kruvv, head of strategic relations at this Estonian company.
LeverID – The new kind of authenticate
Levercode was at AIBC Summit Dubai with their new product – digital authentication and signature, which they believe is very useful also in the FinTech sector and also for cryptocurrency, bankers, and traders to securely authenticate their clients and what is more, provide them with very secure transfers in terms of digital signature.
Levercode is 7 years old. They have experts with more than 20 years of expertise in that domain. It’s not the new company in the market but this product, LeverID, is a brand new one. What makes it very special is that it provides resilience against quantum computers, once they will be able to crack our essay as the common standard of encryption.
Levercode has launched this platform for the utilization of governments and business verticals, they will work on all those pillars. But they’d like to develop a closer relationship with big players in the tech sector and to provide them with a secure environment around litigation and signing of transit transfers for the clients.
The biggest challenge
It took quite a while to develop this platform because they came out with a completely new cryptography setting and in technology, once you have an idea you put some time and energy into it and you can do beautiful things. Riho wouldn’t call it a very big challenge, particularly for an Estonian company that assumes new technologies and their implications.
